Description This is a watercolor with metallic paint and decoupage. The painting is meant to symbolize that the temple is a place of refuge, and we leave the storms of life outside. It can also mean that the temple and by extension, the gospel is a beacon to a dark world. I modeled the temple after the LDS Temple in the Washington DC area. From Jan. 29th to March 27, 2011 this original painting will be on display at the Washington DC Temple Visitor's Center 'Fulfill The Vision' Juried Art Exhibit.
Natalie Cardon, Greater Washington DC Metro Area Member Since January 2011 Artist Statement I’m a young mom with a life-long love of painting watercolor. I was once given the advice “the bigger and splashier the better.” I hope that my paintings show the joy I feel in color and nature.
